I really, really, really should be doing uni work. Deadlines are on Tuesday....but there's still a few more days to do it in! WHOO procrastination!

I'll be posting more art work and some animations up after Tuesday.

Ooh I'm going to do my dissertation next year on how anime has affected western culture in past 20 years I love that my course will let me do everything I wasn't allowed to do in school's art classes.

I've left my data entry job for.... *drum roll* a part time graphic designer job! Whoo! I'm so happy I'll be working with photoshop instead of excel this summer.

Not much else has been going on. Just plodding along happily Looking forward to summer!

1. Between the ages of 3 and 5 I lived in New Zealand with my Mum, Dad and newly born brother Christopher. I love them very much and have a lot to thank my family for.

2. Until I was 12 I wanted to be an astronaut. Then I realised I was crap at maths, engineering and sports so wanted to make cartoons instead.

3. I'm a naturally very shy and unconfident person. I just forced myself to get over it when I started college as it was making everyday life pointlessly difficult. Something as simple as buying something in a shop would make me stutter with awkwardness

4. I've been told I'm a very curious person. As a child I pestered my parents with lots of "why? "how did that happen?" What's that? "How does that work?" They were very helpful and bought me lots of books and encouraged me to watch documentaries I did Philosophy at A level but that just ended up leaving me more confused and posing more unanswerable questions x_X I'm confused and worried by a lot of things that really are not important to everyday life. Though on a plus my curiosity leads me to trying new things ... like sky diving and other more socially taboo things like necrophilia.

5. My sense of humor can and has been described as sick, dark, immature cruel, perverse and twisted. I usually try to hide it until I'm comfortable enough with someone...or just let it show through my sketchbook.

6. Though I have a cruel sense of humor I'm really a sappy hippy type. I'm a vegetarian, I have a tendancy to bring home stray/injured animals (which I inherited from my Mum who has 8 cats and 3 dogs), pick insects up off the path so they don't get squished, use shopping bags for life, do volunteer work for the RSPCA and Enabled Art, donate money to Shelter and Water Aid, buy the big issue, I'm doing volunteer conservation work abroad this summer and I strongly believe in recycling (which my poor housemates and boyfriend know too well ), fair trade, animal rights, human rights, equality, tolerance ....etc etc *typical left wing hippy stuff* Lately my art work has been related to these sorts of things. I really believe that the world can be made a better place and changes can happen if everybody does their bit. I'm too shy and passive to be a political activist but if I could make any small change for the better through my actions I would be very happy (and feel less guilty >_< )

7. I'm really crap at keeping in touch with people I care about (including my poor family though my Mum understands because she's the same lol). I don't mean to offend people or make them think I forget about them...I'm just a big hermit and not the most communicative person (unless you get me alone then you'll want me to shut up!)

8. Now for something completely sappy! My boyfriend Callum is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have never been so happy and at peace with myself. We're probably one of those annoying couples that live in each other's pockets but I'm addicted to his company and everything about him. He is TEH SMEX!!!!!111111 we're a pair of geeks but happy ones
