I know it's copied from the lovely screen cap but it was just so touching and I wanted to practise realism ^^; I really think Sam's dedication and love for Frodo and their friendship through all that is just so sweet.

I did this in 0.5mm HB mechanical pencil on A4 paper and spent about an hour and half. I went for sketchy style instead of shading this nicely ^^; I quite like this but I'm not keen on how Frodo's face turned out :hmm:

Eeee, yes, lovely picture, and you do realism beautifullly. And Sam was my favorite character through all the books -- his devotion and loyalty was touching. :heart: Great drawing, love the style.

Samwise has always been my favorite! I have loved his and Frodo's relationship sooo much. so touching and loyal. My mom read the books to me when I was 5 and I fell in love with Samwise. and Sean Astin did a wonderful job!! So did Elijah Wood as Mr. Frodo. I just loved that friendship. All it could do was grow and grow. I love how JRR Tolkien built it up to that Frodo would of never of made it without Samwise. Great Work I love it!! :winner:
